I am seated here dear Amanda, engrossed in deep thought,
I try to avoid imagination, but temptation overpowers me,
The breeze beats my face, soothing me off loneliness,
Some yards away, two kittens are having fair play,
They pounce on each other, a form of expression I bet,
Five minutes into it, they lie for rest.
They then state at me, with a gaze of sympathy forthcoming,
The can feel my loneliness, and the emptiness in my world,
They can feel the sadness, for they wink in unison,
The wind blows, and the leaves shake overhead,
The storm is setting itn, forcing me into my deserted room,
Against my will and wish, I put my head onto the pillow,
Pain overpowers me, for the longing is real,
Amanda,
When will you come home and never leave,
When will the distance shrink off,
When will when be now,
Where will I place my feeling dear,
Where will I meet you,
Where can I wait for you
Tell me where and be sure I will be there.
